James River Home School Foundation is a nonprofit Christian organization established in 2009 to provide educational and extra-curricular enrichment opportunities for Virginia home-schooled students.

JAMES RIVER EAGLES
ATHLETICS

One of the goals of the James River Home School Foundation is to offer and organize interscholastic, recreational, and developmental sports programs for the physical strengthening and training in disclipline of home-schooled students. For more information about our sports and to register go to the "Athletics" tab and click on your sport.

James River Eagles Athletics

Baseball Registration is now open

After jumping headlong into baseball last year, we are
preparing for our 2nd season of competition on the diamond! 

With a year of experience under our belts, we are
scheduling a much more ambitious season this year 
for Middle School and High School boys. Our high school
team is planning to play about 20 games this spring and 
the middle school team will play 12-15 games.  We will 
play games with other home school teams from around 
the state as well as private schools in the area.  

Due to field availability, home games could be anywhere
in the Richmond area but practices will generally be held
in south Richmond and Chesterfield. 

Players should have prior baseball experience. There are no
"tryouts" but these are interscholastic teams and 
playing time is not guaranteed. We strive to help further each
player’s development as a player and an athlete representing
Christ each season.

Registration prices for our upcoming season:

Middle School Boys: $ 325.00
 Players must be 14 or under on March 1, 2026 to be age eligible
for middle school competition

High School Boys: $ 750.00
Prices reflect the increased cost of high school play

We offer a 10% sibling discount and Installment payments.

Registration for Eagles Sports 
opens each year on July 1st 

For all of our other sports offerings, players do not need prior experience, but it is helpful. There are
no "tryouts". We strive to help further each player’s development as a player and an athlete representing Christ each season.We also provide opportunities
for our student athletes to participate in summer leagues, off-season conditioning, and individual
skill development training. We are proud members
of the CCAC.
