James River Eagles Girls Volleyball
For the Fall '22 season, we will offer teams for middle school and high school homeschooled girls. Pre-season practice starts in early August, with matches begining in late August or early September and the season runs through the end of October or the first week of November. Our teams participate in the VHSAA (Virginia Home School Athletic Association) and will have opportunity to compete in one or more tournaments this season!
Players do not need prior experience, but it is helpful. There are no "tryouts". We strive to help further each player’s development as a player and an athlete representing Christ each season. Players who are 14 and under will be evaluated by the coach at the first few practices to determine the appropriate level of competition.

Long awaited update!!
We are currently gauging interest for a boys volleyball program this fall (2022) and have scheduled an informational meeting!
We are holding a boys volleyball informational meeting for middle-high school home school boys on Friday, August 19th, at Ramsey Memorial UMC. Our new coach will be present and available to discuss potential plans with the parents and boys for the fall. The boys can be a part of the discussion or they can play in the gym or a little of both; Coach will be in the gym until 9pm with the boys.
Please feel free to invite anyone you think might be interested. We don't have pricing information available, but we are hoping we can keep the costs low and get this off the ground.
The fall program will feature:
1) an intro to volleyball,
Additional information will be available after the meeting, so if you are interested but cannot make the meeting, sign up below and we will keep you in the loop. This does not commit you and additional details, i.e., times, cost, etc., will be made available once we determine the interest.
