James River Eagles Boys & Girls Cross Country Teams
Anticipation is building as we prepare for our 9th season of cross country! Last season, every runner in our program improved greatly under the tutelage and direction of Coach Jeffrey Greene. Coach Greene starred in cross country and track at Clover Hill High School, and later became an ALL AMERICAN runner at Winthrop University! Most of our meets are large invitational meets and are run on Saturday mornings. The great thing about cross country is that there is no limit to how many can be on a team and every runner participates fully in every race! The Cross Country season "runs" from September through October. Practices begin in August and online registration will be open by July 1st! Runners do not need prior experience, but it is helpful. There are no "tryouts". We strive to help further each player’s development as a player and an athlete representing Christ each season. Registration prices for the 2023-2024 season remain at $125 for each participant. Our 10% sibling discount will be applied for multiple participants within one family and installment payments are available.
